Dr Talat Nur brings a rich international background to the Molecheck Auckland team. Originally trained in General Surgery, Talat worked in Pakistan and Dubai before relocating to New Zealand in 2016, where she built experience across surgical and urgent care roles in New Plymouth and Auckland.
Over time, she developed a specialised focus on skin cancer medicine – a field she values for combining diagnosis, surgery, prevention, and long-term patient relationships. Prior to joining Molecheck, she worked in skin cancer services at Waitematā DHB and SkinSafe.
A firm believer that prevention is better than cure, Talat is passionate about early detection and helping patients understand their individual risk – particularly in a country with one of the world’s highest rates of skin cancer.
Outside the clinic, Talat enjoys travelling, walking, photography, and discovering great food and coffee. Having lived and worked across three countries, she’s delighted to now call Auckland home.
